PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing tea beverage having excellent flavor. SOLUTION: The method for producing the tea beverage comprises a process of preparing tea leaf extracted solution having a theanine content of 40-210 ppm, a process of bringing the prepared tea leaf extracted solution into an anaerobic condition, a process of heat-treating the prepared tea leaf extracted solution under the anaerobic condition to≥100°C in a sealed condition, and a process of filling the heat-treated tea leaf extracted solution in a hermetic container.
