A circuit-board arrangement has a circuit-board (20) with an electrical useful circuit (50), a manipulation detector device (300) externally enclosing the useful circuit and capable of detecting when unauthorized access is made to the useful circuit. The circuit-board arrangement has a spacer-retainer (180) with a through-aperture where the spacer-retainer (180) is mounted with a fixture surface on the circuit-board such that the useful circuit is positioned near the entrance aperture. An independent claim is given for a method for fabricating a circuit-board arrangement.
