<p>A standing seam roofing structure comprises a plurality of roofing halter brackets (1), each bracket being adapted to be secured at a base portion (3) thereof to a roof support and at a head portion (2) thereof to slideably capture respective edge portions (5,6) of adjacent roofing sheets (7,8) which are themselves adapted to be seamed together to form a finished roofing joint, characterised in that intermediate each head portion of each halter bracket and the adjacent seamed joint is a generally rigid slotted tube member (9) over which the edge portions of adjacent roofing sheets are seamed together, the arrangement being such that the slotted tube member is thereafter gripped firmly within the seamed joint and is captured by, but slideable over, the head portion of its respective halter bracket.</p> |
