<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an inkjet recording medium capable of an inkjet recording medium excellent in a coated face state, and to provide the inkjet recording medium manufactured by the manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the inkjet recording medium providing an ink receiving layer on a substrate, the method for manufacturing the inkjet recording medium comprises an ink receiving layer forming process in which the ink receiving layer is formed by laminating and coating a coating liquid (1) mixing a finely divided particle dispersion in which at least one kind of finely divided particle is dispersed with at least one kind of a cationic polymer and a binder, and a coating liquid (2) capable of increasing viscosity of the coating liquid (1) on the substrate, and the coating liquid (1) and the coating liquid (2) have a pH of 8 or lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
