<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating waste plastics, with which apparatus, waste plastics are smoothly thrown into a dechlorination apparatus and which apparatus is much decreased in fear of fire and explosion. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for treating waste plastics is equipped with a hopper 11, in which hopper the granulated waste plastics are thrown. A discharger 12 for discharging the waste plastics fed to the hopper 11 is arranged at the lower part of the hopper 11. Storage apparatuses 15 and 16 capable of temporarily storing the waste plastics discharged from the discharger 12 are laid below the discharger 12. A cooler 18 capable of cooling the waste plastics discharged from the storage apparatuses is installed below the storage apparatuses 15 and 16. The inside of the storage apparatuses 15 and 16 can be purged with an inert gas. A dechlorination apparatus 20 for dechlorinating the waste plastic passed through the cooler 18 is arranged below the cooler 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
