<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which is efficiently operated because a user assists the printer more positively since a job of a user who performs auxiliary operations for the printer such as paper or toner supply, is preferentially printed. <P>SOLUTION: The printer comprises: a means for receiving print job data sent from an information processing apparatus a user operates; a means for discriminating a print job for every user; and a discriminating means for discriminating a user who assists the printer in paper and toner supply etc., and determines priorities of printing for users according to the discriminating means. When the printer receives higher priority print job data of a user than that under processing, it stops printing of the print job now under processing, and prints the higher priority print job through interruption. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
