PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the configuration of a time interval measuring apparatus and achieve high-precision measurement. SOLUTION: For first and second signals, of which the time difference is to be determined, a voltage value corresponding to a lapse of time from a changing point of the first signal is sampled with the timing of the second signal to be converted into a digital value. The time difference is calculated from the digital value. Calibration information for fluctuations in the voltage output of a time-voltage conversion circuit 5 is created using a standard clock signal CKr and a calibration signal.
