PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve both of heat transfer promoting effect and draining property by guide fins in a fin tube type heat exchanger. SOLUTION: This fin tube type heat exchanger 1 comprises a heat transfer fin 2 placed in airflow, and a plurality of heat transfer tubes 3 inserted into the heat transfer fin 2 and arranged in the direction approximately orthogonal to the flowing direction of airflow. The heat transfer fin 2 is provided with the guides fins 21a, 21b, and guide fins 21c, 21d formed by cutting and raising a heat transfer fin 2 surface at both sides of the heat transfer tubes 3 in a state of being straightly arranged from an upstream side toward a downstream side of the flowing direction of the airflow. Straight lines L<SB>1</SB>, L<SB>2</SB>virtually connecting the guide fins 21a, 21b or the guide fins 21c, 21d are inclined to the flowing direction of airflow to guide the airflow near the heat transfer tubes 3 to a rear side in the flowing direction of air flow, of the heat transfer tubes 3.
