COIL SPRING AND VIBRATION ABSORBING DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil spring having simple construction for preventing surging without impairing the specific spring property of the coil spring, and to provide a vibration absorbing device using the same. SOLUTION: The coil spring 16 comprises a tubular body 14 formed of a rubber elastic material and arranged in close contact with the outer periphery of a metal coil spring body 12, and having a length smaller than the total length of the coil spring body 12 in the expanding direction. The vibration absorbing device comprises the plurality of coil springs 16 arranged in parallel between an upper frame 26 on which a vibration absorbed object is placed and a lower frame 28 which is placed on a floor surface. Damping operation is performed by the tubular body 14 without impairing the specific spring property of the coil spring 16, resulting in simple construction for preventing surging.
