PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure required lubricity at contact positions of a cam-lobe and a cam-follower with oil supplied from an injection hole made in the shaft part of the camshaft, and cut down on costs of not only the camshaft but also the internal combustion engine in which the camshaft with oil-injection holes are provided. SOLUTION: In the shaft part 22 of the camshaft 21 placed in the internal combustion engine E, an intake-side injection hole 73 and an exhaust-side injection hole 74 are made. From the intake-side injection hole 73, a jet of oil is directed so as to reach the surface 52a of contact between an intake rocker-arm 50 and an intake cam-lobe 30. From the exhaust-side injection hole 74, a jet of oil is directed so as to reach the surface 62a of contact between an exhaust rocker-arm 60 and an exhaust cam-lobe 40. The injection holes 73, 74 are made in the same radial direction and in a region where when viewed from the axial direction of the camshaft 21, the nose of the intake cam-lobe 30 and the nose of the exhaust cam-lobe 40 overlap one another.
