PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straightening vane reducing secondary flow generated in suction flow and achieving quietness and high air capacity of a fan when the fan is used in a flow passage in which the distance between a fan opposing wall in a suction side and the fan is short and the fan opposing wall is close to the fan, or when the fan is installed in a position asymmetrical or biased in relation to the suction flow passage. SOLUTION: A plurality of straightening vanes are radially arranged on the fan opposing wall on the suction flow passage side for controlling a circumference direction velocity component of the suction flow. Prewhirl, secondary flow generated in suction flow is reduced by the straightening vane to achieve quietness and high air capacity of the fan. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
