PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device which can be released by key manipulation and set by manipulation other than the key manipulation. SOLUTION: The locking device is formed of: a latch mechanism A for mooring a door F2 to a cabinet main body F1; a lock main body B having an operating element B3 operable upon manipulation of a key inserted into a key insertion hole B21; an unlocking state maintaining mechanism C for maintaining an unlocked state of the latch mechanism A by using movement of the operating element B3 in an unlocking direction by the key manipulation; and a locking state restoring mechanism D for canceling the unlocking state of the latch mechanism A, which is set by the unlocking state maintaining mechanism C upon application of a manipulating force for squeezing an engaged body C2 in a depth direction of the door F2, and restoring the latch mechanism A in the locking state.
