PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a groundwater tank packing material which is so favorable in assembling efficiency as to allow the rigid connection of frame bodies to each other and the insertion of a thick inflow pipe or the like therein from the side, and to provide a packing structure. SOLUTION: The packing material is formed of: cylindrical bodies 2 each having a small-diameter lower fitting port 2a and a large-diameter upper fitting port 2b; side plates 3 each formed of a half-cylindrical body 31 obtained by laterally dividing the cylindrical body 2 into halves, and a plate body 30; and corner members 4 each formed of a quarter-cylindrical body 41 obtained by laterally and longitudinally dividing the cylindrical body 2 into quarters, and a plate body 40 of a plane L shape; and the frame bodies 1. Each frame body 1 has an annular fitting portion 1a formed on the upper surface thereof except for the four corners for fitting therein the lower fitting port 2a of the cylindrical body 2, and a quarter-annular fitting portion 1b formed on the upper surface of each of the four corners. The quarter-annular fitting portion 1b is obtained by dividing the annular fitting portion 1a into quarters. Further the frame body 1 has an annular projection 1c formed on the lower surface thereof except for the four corners for fitting thereon the upper fitting port 2b of the cylindrical body 2, and a quarter-annular projection 1d formed on the lower surface of each of the four corners.
