PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect an image displayed on a display device in a vehicle not to be seen by a passenger of a succeeding vehicle. SOLUTION: A polarizing plate 2 and a phase difference plate 3 are disposed on a display device 1. A half-wave plate is used as a phase difference plate 3. A rear glass 5 of the vehicle is provided with a polarization layer 6. The polarization layer 6 is disposed so that a smaller angle out of angles made by a transmission axis direction and a horizontal direction is 45 degrees. The phase difference plate 3 changes a vibration direction of linear polarized light that has been emitted from the display device 1 and has passed through the polarizing plate 2. At this time, the phase difference plate 3 changes the vibration direction of the light so that the vibration direction of the light of the linear polarized light that has passed through the polarizing plate 2 is orthogonal to the transmission axis of the polarization layer 6.
