<p>A shower rod assembly (10) has a first rod (12) having a first end, a second rod (16) telescopically connected to the first rod ( 12), a first plate ( 14) suitable for attachment to a wall (22) and receiving a first end of the first rod (12), and a second plate (20) having a surface suitable for attachment to another wall (24) and receiving the second end of the second rod (16). A flap is formed on the first plate (14) so as to have an edge portion integrally connected to the plate (14) and another edge portion separated from the plate (14). A bracket is affixed to the flap so as to connect pivotally with a plug in a respective end of one of the rods.</p> |
