An apparatus for improving fuel leakage in an LPLI(Liquid Phase LPG Injection) system and a control method thereof are provided to achieve improved startability and prevent unburnt LPG fuel from being discharged to atmosphere. An apparatus for improving fuel leakage in an LPLI system, comprises an engine(10); an intake system(20) for supplying fuel to the engine; a first valve(40) arranged at a fuel supply line formed between the intake system and the engine; a storage unit(30) for sucking leakage fuel through the first valve, and storing the leakage fuel; a second valve(50) for supplying leakage fuel stored in the storage unit to the intake system; and a controller(60) for controlling opening/closing operation of the first valve and the second valve.
