An ice tray assembly of a refrigerator is provided to easily separate ices in ice forming recesses by resilient deformation of a rubber plate. An ice tray assembly of a refrigerator includes a tray(10) and a pressing plate(20). The tray includes a plurality of ice forming recesses and rubber plates(14). Water is contained in the ice forming recesses. The rubber plate prevents leakage of water from the bottom surfaces of the ice forming recesses and at least some of the rubber plates are resiliently deformed. The pressing plate includes plates(22) and ice separating shafts(24). A user can press the plates at the bottom of the tray. The ice separating shafts extend from the plate and penetrate the bottom surfaces of the ice forming recesses. Ices can be separated from the ice forming recesses by resiliently deforming the rubber plates making contact with ends of the ice separating shaft.
