A bubble removal apparatus using wet type sauna water for a drum-type washing machine and a method of the same are provided to improve the solubility of detergent and to effectively remove bubbles by injecting sauna water with an injection device. A bubble removal apparatus using wet type sauna water for a drum type washing machine comprises: a tub installed in a cabinet(2); a drum(8) installed in the tub to wash the laundry; a circulation pipe(30) one end of which is connected to the lower unit of the tub to form a connection passage for water; a heating box assembly(32) connected to a free end of the circulation pipe to heat water; a wet type sauna water injection device connected to the heating box assembly, and installed to generate sauna water and inject the generated sauna water in the tub; a bubble removal pipe(36) connected to the circulation pipe to discharge the bubbles generated in the tub to the outside; a bubble checking device(38) installed in the bubble removal pipe to output a signal of the amount of the checked bubbles; and a controller(40) opening and closing a passage of the bubble removal pipe.
