A steering wheel mounting structure is provided to prevent a driver from being injured due to collision with a steering wheel in a car crash by including a combining/releasing means in a combined state of a hub and separating the steering wheel from a column in a front crash. A steering wheel mounting structure comprises a steering wheel(500); a steering column(400) mounted on a vehicle body; a hub formed with a column hub(220) mounted on the steering column and a wheel hub(210) mounted at the steering wheel; and a combining/releasing means disassembling the combination by combining the hub in a car crash. The steering wheel is mounted with the steering column by intermediation of the hub. The combining/releasing means has flanges formed on free end of the column hub and the wheel hub respectively; four through-holes formed on the flanges; a pin(310) inserted into the through-hole; a fixing means fixing the pin with the hub; and an ejecting means ejecting the pin from the through-hole.
