A turntable assembly for a spindle motor is provided to reuse the other of a turntable and a metal plate when one of the turntable and the metal plate mutually combined is damaged by being formed with a structure capable of mounting and demounting the turntable and the metal plate. A plurality of holding grooves(171) are formed in a metal plate(170). A plurality of holding projections(165) are formed in a turntable. A plurality of the holding projections(165) are removably combined with a plurality of the holding grooves(171). A plurality of the holding projections(165) have elasticity.
