<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which is removably mounted with a developer replenishing container and can be made smaller in its size by reducing its unnecessary space. <P>SOLUTION: The toner container 7 is a container which is removably mounted on a printer 1 and can be internally filled with a toner. The container is equipped with a container case 67 and a lid 68. The container case 67 has a base section 52 provided with a replenishing port allowing the toner to drop and an aperture 51 opened alongside the base section 52 adjacent thereto, and is formed with a first flange 51a projecting to the outer peripheral side at the opening end of the aperture 51. The lid 68 is mounted on the container case 67, and is formed with a second flange 68a weldable to the first flange 51a. The container case 67 and the lid 68 have a section 69a to be guided composed of a portion of a welding rib 69 in the mounting state that the first and second flanges 51a and 68a are welded.
