<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an identification card which can obtain high security property easily and does not impair visual recognizability during using the card. <P>SOLUTION: This identification card has a protecting layer 35 formed on its surface, and the protecting layer 35 has respectively different angles of view in at least not less than two divided regions. In addition, the card has a protecting layer 35 formed on its surface, and an optical compensating film is used for the protecting layer 35 in the at least not less than two divided regions of the surface of the card.
