<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original lithographic printing plate with an image recording layer which has excellent color developing properties by light exposure, has a clear-cut difference in hue between an exposed part and an unexposed part, and also outstanding coat strength and an easily removable unexposed part by ink and/or damping water, and a lithographic printing method which uses the original lithographic printing plate, and can initiate printing without passing through a developing treatment process after forming an image part, with additional advantages such as excellent plate inspection property and resistance to plate wear. <P>SOLUTION: This original lithographic printing plate has the image recording layer which contains at least (A) an infrared absorbent, (B) a polymerization initiator, (C) a polymerizable compound, (D) a binder polymer and (E) a borate compound provided on a support and can record an image by infrared irradiation. The lithographic printing method comprises a process to expose the original plate with infrared laser light in an image fashion and a printing process to print by supplying oil ink and an aqueous component without applying a developing treatment to the original lithographic printing plate after light exposure. Further, the unexposed portion of the original lithographic printing plate to the infrared laser light, is removed while the printing process is underway. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
