<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relatively increase the reliability of welding securely and to increase the yield of welding by utilizing the high-energy welding system to instantly and synchronously fuse two head members and firmly connect the members. <P>SOLUTION: The method of welding the golf club head members comprises a step of preparing a first head member which is made of a ferromanganese aluminum alloy material, a step of preparing a second head member which is made of a material whose fusing point is relatively higher than that of ferromanganese aluminum alloy, and a step of combining the first and second head members together by utilizing the high-energy welding system. As the energy density in the high-energy welding is substantially larger than 106 W/mm<SP>2</SP>, the two head members are instantly and synchronously fused and firmly welded to be combined together. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
