PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve manufacturing efficiency of a member made of a fiber-reinforced resin formed in a shape having a groove or a hollow part extended in the length direction while lightening the member. SOLUTION: The member made of a fiber-reinforced resin comprises a single skeleton material 11 made of a fiber to constitute a bumper reinforcement 10, which is composed of a plurality of first fiber bundles 19 made of carbon fiber, a plurality of fiber bundles 20 made of carbon fiber and a plurality of second fiber bundles 21 made of aramid fiber. The first fiber bundle 19 made of carbon fiber constitutes a bottom wall 14 and the second fiber bundle 21 made of aramid fiber constitutes flanges 17 and 18. The length directions of the first and the second fiber bundles 19 and 21 are arranged in the length direction of the bumper reinforcement 10. The bottom wall 14 is a compression stress part in the bumper reinforcement 10 (skeleton material 11) regarded to receive compression load.
