PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for transmitting a signal in a communication system. SOLUTION: In a system for transmitting a signal in a communication system, a multi-FA signal is generated by combining single FA signals to be transmitted by N allocation frequencies (FAs). An operation mode of N multi-mode power amplifiers (MMPAs) is determined according to the class of FA used in the signal transmitting system, and adjustment of amplification characteristics of the N MMPAs is controlled according to the determined operation mode. The power of the multi-FA signal is then equally divided by N, the N piece equally power-divided signals are amplified according to the adjusted amplification characteristics, and the power of the amplified N piece signals is combined.
