PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color matching device which makes it possible to print while matching color reproduction characteristics of a printer to be corrected with color reproduction characteristics of a target printer. SOLUTION: The color matching device which matches output characteristics of a plurality of output devices to be corrected with output characteristics of a target output device has a selecting means of selecting a reference output device out of the plurality of output devices to be corrected, a machine difference correcting means of matching output characteristics of the output devices to be corrected other than the reference output device with output characteristics of the reference output device, and a color converting means of matching output characteristics of the output devices to be corrected which have been matched by the machine error correcting means with output characteristics of the reference output device and output characteristics of the reference output device with output characteristics of the target output device.
