PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance an object and to make the object inconspicuous by adjusting contrast of a particular object in an image. SOLUTION: An object histogram calculating part 9 extracts a first object 5 and a second object 6 included in an image 12, calculates luminance histograms 7 and 8, operates an objectγcorrection coefficient calculating part 11 to correct aγcurve on the basis of any one or more among distribution contents of the luminance histograms 7 and 8, average luminance, maximum luminance, and minimum luminance, and operates an object gradation correcting part 13 to applyγcorrection processing to the first object 5 and the second object 6 on the basis of an objectγcorrection coefficient after calculating the objectγcorrection coefficient.
