PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the width of a protector sub-module while maintaining strength and insulation distance required by a U slit terminal even if the U slit terminal to be loaded is a double U slit terminal, in a protector sub-module for communication in which a plurality of U slit terminals for input line connection for connecting jumper wire from a subscriber side communication line to a connection connector being an output end to an exchange are provided on a front side in alignment. SOLUTION: A U slit forming part 21 of U slit terminals 2 is formed in a plate shape, and the U slit forming part is provided inclinedly at a prescribed angle with respect to the alignment direction of the U slit terminal lines 2A and 2B.
