PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmitter, data transmitting method and data transmission program capable of efficiently executing data transmission by designating a transmission destination more flexibly when performing data transmission. SOLUTION: An operating part 201 of a compound machine 105 inputs a change request for a folder configuration to a transmission destination device (step S101), and a controller unit 200 determines an available protocol among a plurality of protocols to connect with the transmission destination device through a network (step S103 and S104), generates a change request of folder configuration corresponding to the determined protocol on the basis of the change request of a folder configuration input by the operating part 201 (step S105) and transmits the generated change request of a folder configuration to the transmission destination device (step S106).
