PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily start an engine, and prevent emission of unburnt fuel to atmospheric air when the engine is started. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a fuel injection valve disposed on an intake port of the engine, an exhaust circulation means to circulate exhaust to an intake passage, and an exhaust circulation control means (step S14) to circulate exhaust in an exhaust passage to the intake passage at the time of cranking to return unburnt fuel to the intake passage.
