PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressed air producing device less affected by weather fluctuation and capable of efficiently producing compressed air. SOLUTION: This compressed air producing device is provided with an air compressor 6 producing compressed air by compressed air producing parts having cylinders and pistons; a DC motor 5 of the air compressor 6; a solar battery 2 converting a sunbeam to electric energy; and a control means for performing drive control of the air compressor 6 by output of the solar battery 2. The air compressor 6 is a multi-cylinder type having the plurality of compressed air producing parts. When the output of the solar battery 2 becomes below a predetermined value due to change in illumination of the sunbeam, the control means performs control to change the number of the compressed air manufacturing parts producing compressed air.
