PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement for a manually operated cart improved in the strength of a bucket holding section of the manually operated cart and the connecting section of a handle, and the manually operated cart with the reinforcement, and to easily retrofit the reinforcement to an existing manually operated cart without requiring special work. SOLUTION: The reinforcement 40 of the manually operated cart 10 is built and fixed between the bucket holding frames 31 and 31 and the handle 32 of the manually operated cart 10 with the bucket holding frames 31 and 31 holding a bucket 20 and both ends 21a and 21a of the bucket 20 and the handle 32 upwardly inclined and continuously connected from the bucket holding frames 31 and 31. In the reinforcement 40, screws 45 inserted and fixed into mounting holes 31a formed at both ends sections 21a and 21a of the bucket 20 and the bucket holding frames 31 and 31 are mounted at one end in the longitudinal direction.
