PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sink roll for continuous hot-dip metal plating capable of preventing generation of a flow for sucking up a bottom dross, and to provide a continuous hot-dip metal plating apparatus and a manufacturing method of a continuous hot-dip metal plated steel sheet capable of improving a problem of dross deposition on a surface of a steel strip. SOLUTION: The sink roll having a hollow and cylindrical shape comprises a cylindrical barrel portion and side plates integrated with the barrel portion on both ends of the barrel portion, and is arranged in a plating bath of a continuous hot-dip metal plating apparatus to transfer a steel strip introduced in the plating bath along an outer circumference of the barrel portion. A plurality of side plates are arranged on both ends of the barrel portion with an interval therebetween, and each of the plurality of side plates has an aperture for communicating the inside of the roll with the outside on the outer circumferential side.
