RUBBER COMPOSITION AND PNEUMATIC TIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition effective for surely preventing the intrusion of a mold releasing agent from a joint part to prevent the failure caused by the trouble in the manufacture of a tire and suitable as a joint tape of an inner liner to improve the durability of the tire by improving the heat-resistance. SOLUTION: The rubber composition contains carbon black in 100 pts.wt. of a rubber component composed of 75-95 pts.wt. of a halogenated butyl rubber and 25-5 pts.wt. of a diene rubber and has a 200% extension modulus of 0.2-0.4 MPa in unvulcanized state. The pneumatic tire is produced by covering the joint part 3 of the inner liner 10 on the inner face of the tire with a joint tape 4 composed of the rubber composition. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
