PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air guide device for a vehicle, in particular, a passenger car, which is provided in a rear area of the vehicle, and provided with an air guide element which is movable from the non-operational position at which the air guide element is integrally formed in a shape of the rear area to the operational position at which the air guide element is paid out. SOLUTION: In order to improve the aerodynamic characteristic, in particular, the power take-out on a rear axle of an air guide device 11, an air guide element 12 has a transverse extension at the paid-out operational position D larger than that at the retracted non-operational position A.
