<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform monochromatic printing without inputting a section code when a color managing function is effective even when a section managing function is under an effective condition, and as a result, to realize a section managing in accordance with a request of a user while convenience of the user is improved. <P>SOLUTION: Under a condition that both the section managing function for counting the number of pages printed on every section, and the color managing function for counting only the number of color-printed pages on every section, are effective, for the monochromatic printing, the printing is performed even when no section is decided, and for the color printing, the printing is performed after the section is decided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
