<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing the leakage of secret information, without having to use expensive dedicated device, such as a paper-shredder. <P>SOLUTION: A character extracting part 101 extracts a character which matches a specific character stored in a specific character storage part 151 as a paint-out object character from a secret document 81, a character region deciding part 102 decides the paint-out region containing the extracted paint-out object character, and an overwriting processing part 103 paints out the paint-out region on the secret document 81 so that the extracted paint-out object character is incapable of being discriminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
