<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device equipped with a voltage level converter comprising NMOS transistors of the same conduction type capable of sufficiently suppressing a through current even when a Low level of an input signal and a Low level of an output signal varies and even when a Hi level of the input signal and a Hi level of an output signal vary. <P>SOLUTION: The voltage level converter for driving resistive and capacitive loads RL, CL of the display device includes a charge circuit 6 having a capacitance CPA, NMOS 1, a capacitance CB, and NMOS 3; a discharge circuit 7 having NMOS 2, NMOS 4 and NMOS 5; and a reset signal generating circuit RST provided in a preceding stage of the discharge circuit 7. A signal /VIN having an inverted phase to an input pulse is applied to the reset signal generating circuit RST. The output of the reset signal generating circuit is supplied to gate terminals of the NMOS 2, NMOS 4 and NMOS 5, thus realizing reliable turning ON or OFF the discharge circuit 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
