PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain terminal authentication of a client terminal and a server device connected to different networks. SOLUTION: A Web application 104 collates received user information 106 with user information registered beforehand in a Web server 102 (S107). When user authentication is successful, a unique log-in key uncreated in the past is created as a proof of success in user authentication (S108), and a terminal information acquisition program 103 operated on the client terminal 101 is started. The log-in key 110 is delivered to the terminal information acquisition program 103 (S109). The terminal information acquisition program 103 acquires a MAC address of the client terminal 101 (S112), and returns the log-in key and MAC address 113 to the Web application 104.
