PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque operation device for an engine calculating output torque of the engine. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a load-averaged torque calculation means A1 calculating and averaging load equivalent torque EvT based on engine load equivalent value and obtaining load-averaged torque Ev(s), a cylinder pressure sensor 20 outputting cylinder pressure signal pmi, cylinder pressure-averaged torque calculation means A2 defining cylinder pressure equivalent torque PT based on cylinder pressure signal pmi and obtaining cylinder pressure-averaged torque PTave by averaging the same, a learning value calculation means A3 defining torque deviation SAT of load-averaged torque Ev(s) against the cylinder pressure-averaged torque PTave and calculating learning value EvTLAN for reducing the torque deviation SAT, and a corrected torque output means A4 outputting output torque Tout obtained by correcting the load equivalent torque by a learning value.
