PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a trouble due to electrolytic liquid by separating the electrolytic liquid and a gas exhausted from a safety valve of a battery and storing the electrolytic liquid in a cap mounted on the battery. SOLUTION: The battery with a cap is connected to the cap 20 so as to cover a safety valve opening 13. The cap 20 has a liquid storage part 21 for storing the electrolytic liquid inside and a degassing hole 24 to exhaust the gas to the outside with the electrolytic liquid stored. The battery stores in a liquid storage part 21 the electrolytic liquid discharged from the safety valve opening 13 when the safety valve 12 is opened, and exhausts the gas exhausted from the safety valve opening 13 from the degassing hole 24 to the outside of the cap 20.
