PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guide a fiber bundle without contacting to the fiber bundle and prevent time dependent deterioration of the friction state of a guide surface caused by abrasion and adhesion of foreign materials. SOLUTION: A fiber bundle guide device 30 is installed between a middle bottom roller 13 and a back bottom roller 14. The fiber bundle guide device 30 guides to narrow the width of the fiber bundle F moving from the upstream side to the downstream side. The fiber bundle guide device 30 is installed with a guide material 31 having the guide surface along moving direction of the guided fiber bundle F and a vibration means for vibrating the guide material 31 to generate sound pressure for preventing contact of the fiber bundle to the guide surface. The guide material 31 is constituted of flat plates arranged parallel and the guide surface is constituted of an opposite face to the flat plate. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
