PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide anε-type copper phthalocyanine pigment composition which exhibits more excellent coloring power. SOLUTION: Thisε-type copper phthalocyanine pigment composition is characterized by comprisingε-type copper phthalocyanine pigment, a phthalimide alkylated phthalocyanine, and a higher fatty acid or its salt, wherein the amount of the higher fatty acid or its salt is 1 to 10 pts.mass per 100 pts.mass of the total amount of theε-type copper phthalocyanine pigment and the phthalimide alkylated phthalocyanine. A method for producing theε-type copper phthalocyanine pigment composition, comprising subjectingα-type copper phthalocyanine,ε-type copper phthalocyanine and the phthalimide alkylated phthalocyanine to a solvent salt milling treatment, is characterized by performing the solvent salt milling treatment in the presence of the higher fatty acid or its salt.
