PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mix and match system for manufacturing dosage forms. SOLUTION: An apparatus for transferring substrates from a first location to a second location, comprising: a flexible conveying means; a plurality of transfer units mounted to the conveying means, the transfer units being capable of holding the substrates; a cam track defining a path between the first and second locations and means for driving the conveying means along the cam track.
