PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a float body which obtains the buoyancy from air inside the float body used in a dishwasher, wherein the precision in detecting the water level is impaired because air in a hollow part of the float body is expanded to become bubbles to be lost by the difference in temperature of washing water. SOLUTION: The dishwasher comprises a washing tub for storing the tableware, a water reservoir part disposed under the washing tub for storing washing water, and a water level sensor for detecting the water level of the water reservoir part. The water level sensor comprises a water storing part communicating with the water reservoir part for storing water, the float body disposed inside the water storage part, and a switch to be turned on/off according to the floating/sinking of the float body. The float body comprises an opening part opened downward and a plurality of hollow parts opened toward the opening part.
