PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back sideways alarming system to display both the alarm and failure in a door mirror, allowing a driver etc. to grasp generation of a failure easily and certainly and capable of making prominent the display of a failed condition even from outside the vehicle. SOLUTION: An alarm display 131 concerning an obstacle to be noticed existing in the area back sideways is provided inside the door mirror 12 about the direction across the vehicle width, and outside across the vehicle width, a failure display 133 is installed to notify the driver etc. of a failure of the system. The failure display 133 has two light sources 1332 and 1333 so that the directionality of the light having passed a light emission part 1331 is widened to outside in the direction across the vehicle width.
