PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress air column resonance in a tire inner chamber 18 with almost no change or deterioration in structure and performance of a tire. SOLUTION: A wide width reinforcing ply 36 and strips 38 of a nylon fiber cord, with providing a clearance K in between, and at least one narrow reinforcing ply 42 and strips 44 of an organic fiber cord, with positioning the side ends 44a in contact with each other, are spirally wound. So, the out-of-plane bending rigidity of the area where a narrow reinforcing layer 41 is disposed becomes a composite value of the wide width and narrow reinforcing layer 35, 41, and it becomes higher value than the area wherein the only wide width reinforcing layer 35 among the narrow reinforcing layers 41. Therefore, the tread central part is largely deformed out-of-plane compared to the two tread end parts, and the air column resonance is effectively suppressed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
