PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce contamination of the interior of a printer with fine matter separated from a support (a printing medium/paper) by using a low-cost means. SOLUTION: A baffle 70 for protecting a printing head 11 against fine matter coming from a printing medium 28 is built below the printing medium 28 and above the printing head 11 in an imaging device 10 which prints an image 26 on a drum 14 as an image transfer member using the printing head 11 and transfers the image 2 to the printing medium 28 inside a support feeder route passing above the drum 14. Further, contaminants separated from the printing medium 28 can be captured before the contaminants could reach the printing head 11 by orienting one side surface 72 of the baffle 70 serving as a tacky surface in the almost printing medium 28 direction. Besides, also a fine substance discharged from the drum 14 and the fine matter emitted from the drum 14 can be captured with the help of the drum 14 side surface of the baffle 14 serving as the tacky surface.
