An operating oil tank (9) is provided between a cab (8) of and an engine cover (11) of a rear vehicle body (3). Of the portions of the engine cover (11), side covers (15, 16) placed on the sides of the engine (10) are composed of left and right bent plates (17, 18) that are provided at both left and right sides of a ceiling cover (13) and are bent in a circular arc, and of left and right side plates (19, 20) extended downward from the lower end side of the bent plates (17, 18). The front end side of the bent plates (17, 18) are overlapped on the outer surface of the operating oil tank (9) by an overlap distance (La), so that the operating oil tank (9) is partially externally covered. The overlap dimension (La) between the operating oil tank (9) and the bent plates (17, 18) varies depending on wheel loader models.
